The story
The red of a pomegranate cut open. This is a two-layer caftan: a sheer, self-striped overdress that moves with the air, and a satin slip beneath it in the same red. The sfifa braid runs the full length of the opening, along every hem and around the cuffs, in gold with a thread of pink woven through. Worn open, the overdress drifts; worn closed, it reads as one long column of colour.
