The story
A caftan made entirely of lace, in the deep violet of a sky just after dusk. The lace is patterned with paisleys and leaves, and it is edged with a silver sfifa braid along the neck, the opening and the cuffs. Worn over black, it becomes a shadow with a pattern in it; worn over a paler slip, the lace comes forward. Side slits run high, so the piece moves.
