The story
Deep colours, like the high valleys: forest green, navy and magenta in a large paisley, framed by two wide bands of gold braid that run from shoulder to hem. The bands are the architecture of the piece; they make it read as a coat. It stops at mid-calf and looks right with boots, which is how we photographed it.
