The story
Saffron, in velvet with a burnt-out figure: flowers and leaves where the pile has been removed, so the pattern is made of light and shadow rather than of colour. The sfifa braid is narrow and gold, with a line of small buttons at the neck. It is warm, it has weight, and it is the piece we would wear in winter.
