The story
A sky-blue sheer, striped with bands of gold lamé and small blue roses, edged in a satin braid of the same blue. The row of aakad buttons down the front is the detail that stays with you: knotted by hand, each one the size of a pea, in sky blue. Worn closed over a slip, or open over jeans as we photographed it, it is one of the lightest pieces in the house.
