The story
Ivory, with bands of gold flowers that wave down the length of the cloth like the current in a river. Between the bands, the brocade is figured with small ivory motifs that you only see up close. The front is closed with a line of pearl beading. It is a piece for daylight; in the studio it seemed to have its own.
